The food system is highly complex and is driven by many factors, such as health, security, culture and environment. This educational guide summarizes the key points linked to the food system. It presents an introduction (food paradoxes and the role of the SDG’s) followed by four chapters dedicated to: food and sustainability, food and health, food and culture, food and migration.
The book provides several lesson plans and laboratory activities for each chapter of the educational guide. All lessons are designed around engaging themes of interest for students of different ages.
