Monitor food sustainability across the world.

The first food sustainability map

The Right To Food Map (RTF MAP) is a platform designed by the alliance of the BCFN Foundation and the Milan Center for Food Law and Policy, and developed in collaboration with our technology partner, the Politecnico di Milano.

The RTF MAP was born from a common interest in shedding light on the key issues around food and nutrition by monitoring and analysing global scientific research, discussions, policies, laws and proposals.

The RTF MAP was developed in parallel with the Food Sustainability Index: two tools that the BCFN requested to contribute, in different but complementary ways, to the ongoing analysis of the global debate on the sustainable development of agri-food systems.

The RTF MAP Model

The Right To Food MAP (RTF MAP) is a platform which carries out semantic analysis of the most authoritative content on the web regarding food sustainability and plots it on a map which can be navigated geographically or by topic.

The project is an essential tool in providing stakeholders with continually updated information on the sustainable development of the food system.
