In 2012, some companies belonging to Angem - along with other major players in the industry, also from the cooperative world - have formed Oricon - Foodservice and Nutrition Observatory. Oricon stems from the desire and commitment of eight companies from this sector, which together account for about 60% of the market, with the aim of promoting nutritional issues and contributing to the collective well-being through the dissemination of nutritional education programs with particular reference to vulnerable sections of the population.
