To help the world see a better food future via BCFN.

Loss of agricultural productions due to storage problem makes a considerable contribution to Global food crisis. While almost a billion people are undernourished worldwide, about 30% food is lost due to lack of proper storage facilities mostly in developing and underdeveloped countries like Nepal. Current storage facilities are also hampered by huge power cuts that lead in high-energy costs ultimately resulting to increase in the food prices. By utilizing the natural boon of varying topography and climatic conditions in Nepal and countries with similar topography and climatic variability, we propose a low-cost solution to the present improper storage. The food loss due to present storage hindrance is prevented or considerably minimized. Nature's cold storage is built at a height of 1800-2200 Meters using low thermal conductive materials such as earthen block, which are locally available, where normal temperature usually is around 10 degree Celsius, i.e. ideal temperature for cold stores.
