According to Fernando Gonzàlez Laxe ( “ Cambio de modelo, El Pais, 9 march 2010) in order to achieve a social change there are...

In Vietnam, children suffer from malnutrition which hinders their development and quality of life. The reasons for the prevalence of malnutrition in Vietnam are complex and involve many factors including poor hygiene, lack of knowledge, pollution and poverty. Malnutrition is especially prevalent among children of underserved regions of Vietnam. Young children age 2 -5 in the rural Tien Dong region of northern Vietnam are especially effected my malnutrition. We aim to improve the lives of children in this region by fighting the root causes of malnutrition by spreading awareness about healthy food choices, improved sanitation practices and proper waste disposal. In order to have the most impact on our target group, children in the Tien Dong region, we have decided to set our project in the local kindergarten. This will be a center to directly provide more nutritious food to the children and spread awareness in the community about nutrition and health.
