He is Senior Fellow of Center for American Progress, a think tank that aims to give an answer to the American people about great issues such as terrorism and American Health Care System. He is an expert in the areas of clean renewable energy, climate change and occupational and economic development; he has served as an advisor to the campaign of President Barack Obama, and was an architect of clean energy portions of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. He served in the Clinton Administration as Special Assistant to the Office of Vice President Al Gore.
