The Barilla Center for Food & Nutrition (BCFN), under the patronage of Paolo de Castro MEP, Chairman of the European Parliament's Committee on Agriculture and Rural Affairs, invites you to an open debate on the future of agriculture.
As the reform of the Common Agricultural Policy proceeds, the future of agriculture and how production and consumption can advance towards a more sustainable approach is addressed by the BCFN latest publication, “The Future of Agricultural Sector”.
At the workshop, high-level institutional representatives and third-party experts will analyse the economic and political conditions which will impact agricultural production in the European Union now and in the future. They will also discuss how EU agricultural policy can be shaped to ensure benefits for both consumers and agricultural producers with regards to food security, environment, climate change and the impact of food production on global development.
