Advisory Board
The activities of the Barilla Center for Food & Nutrition are guided by the Advisory Board, a multidisciplinary body consisting of scientists and experts belonging to different, but complementary sectors, who propose and elaborate BCFN’s focus areas and formulate concrete recommendations in these areas.
Along with its vision to enable all the best experts and professionals available to offer their input, external experts will be involved, as well as research centers and universities, who will be asked to contribute to timely and high level processing of BCFN’s work.
The Principles
The Advisory Board operates according to the principles of:
• Independence: it is autonomous in its analyses and observations;
• Sharing: it is the engine behind a comparison process extended to whomever wants to contribute ideas and proposals, whether it is governments or public or private institutions, without discrimination based on nationality, ideology, or political choices;
• Excellence: it is at the center of combining the best international expertise known within the social, medical-scientific, environmental, and economic fields.
