International expert on environment and energy issues, Barbara Buchner is researcher at International Energy Agency (IEA) in Paris. She is involved in the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the Kyoto Protocol and in the study of the greenhouse effect, with the objective of studying the consequences of the different energy policies and strategies. In 2006 she was Senior Researcher at the Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM) in Venice, where she worked on climate change, sustainable development and clean development mechanism, providing support to the Italian Minister of Environment, during the G8 Summit.
