OUTLINE

Advisory Board is the body that proposes and develops the themes and analysis studied by the Barilla Center for Food & Nutrition.
In line with the Center’s multi-disciplinary approach, the Board is composed of scientists and experts from different, yet complementary, sectors. In addition, in conformity with its mission – to ensure that all the most expert and qualified professionals available can offer their contribution – outside experts from research bodies and universities are also called upon to make a high-level, targeted contribution to the work of the Center.
The Advisory Board operates on the principles of:
- Independence: it is autonomous in its thinking and analyses;
- Sharing: it is an engine behind a process of encounter and discussion that is extended as broadly as possible to anyone who has ideas and proposals to offer, whether it be a government, public or private institution, regardless of nationality, ideological choice or political preferences;
- Excellence: it is a meeting place for the top internationally recognized people in social, medical-scientific, environmental and economic fields.
